When using the REEF LIFE Calcium set there will be no alteration of the pH, the ion equilibrium will be maintained, and healthy coral growth will result. to stabilise not only the Calcium content, but also the carbonate hardness (KH) and the pH.

The calcium level increases and, if the kH is high enough, the phosphate concentration is reduced by precipitation. The growth of hair algae is inhibited and the development of calcareous algaes is encouraged. Kalkwasserpowder can be used in all Kalkwasser reactors or Kalkwasser stirrers but be sure to follow the manufacturer's instructions. The best method is to replace the evaporated water in the aquarium using Kalkwasser solution pumped by an Aqua Medic Niveaumat (peristaltic pump with float switch) from a reservoir.
